Dr Arora performed surgery to remove an external ear cholesteatoma. He was extremely thorough in explaining the procedure, taking into account concerns about my history of facial palsy. The operation was performed successfully at Birmingham Treatment Centre and the follow up care has been exceptional, again addressing all my questions and dealing with all my concerns. In particular I am so grateful for the time and consideration Dr Arora has given me, always with warmth and humanity. And, in that regard, I would add my thanks for the patience and support of the nursing and ancillary staff at BTC and Sandwell, especially on the day of my operation. There is currently much discussion about ‘productivity’ and ‘efficiency savings’ in the NHS but it is the ‘slack in the system’ that allows humanity through.

Dr Arora has provided phenomenal care from the start of my treatment journey for polyps to the finish. He arranged to regularly see me post-surgery and ensure that I am recovering, offering guidance and support whenever needed.
